The rupee today gained four paise to54 rupees 43 paise against the dollar on the Interbank Foreign Exchange or Forex market in early trade. This follows fresh selling of the US currency by exporters.The local unit had closed lower by 40 paise to end at an over one-month low of 54.47 yesterday.
