The Indian rupee appreciated by 4 paise to 45 rupees 28 paise per dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange today. The Indian currency supported by a higher opening in the stock market and dollar weakness against the Euro and other Asian currencies. The rupee had declined by 11 paise to close at a three-month low of 45 rupees 32 paise against the US currency in yesterday's trade amid weakness in domestic equities and dollar demand from importers.
