The Indian rupee appreciated by 30 paise to 49 rupees 16 paise per US dollar in early trade on the Interbank Foreign Exchange today, supported by the gains registered by other Asian currencies against the American dollar and a rebound in the domestic stock market.The rupee had closed 35 paise lower against the US currency during Tuesday's trade.
