The Indian rupee rose marginally by 3 paise to 44.67 rupees a dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange today. Forex dealers said, increased dollar inflows and higheropening at the bourses helped strengthen rupee, but dollar's firmness against other major currencies restricted its' gains. The rupee had remained stable at 44.70/71 rupees against the US dollar in the previous session in lackluster trade.
