Continuing with its gaining streak for the third straight day, the rupee on Wednesday appreciated by 17 paise to touch one-week high at 46.14 against the US dollar in opening trade on hopes of continued capital inflows into equity market. Dollar's losses versus other Asian currencies also supported the local unit.At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market, the local currency rose 17 paise to 46.14 a dollar, its highest since November 26.
