The rupee appreciated 13 paise to61.94 against the dollar in early trade today at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market on increased selling of the US currency by exporters and higher capital inflows. The rupee had ended flat at 62.07 against dollar yesterday. Meanwhile, the BSE benchmark Sensex today rose 67.68 points, to trade at 20,781.05 in early trade.
