The Indian rupee appreciated by 13 paise to 44.95 rupees per dollar on Wednesday. It had closed at 45.08 rupees against the greenback in the previous session.Forex dealers said dollar weakness against other Asian currencies and a higher opening in the stock market kept the rupee sentiment firm.
