The Indian rupee strengthened by 13 paise to 44 Rupees 90 against the US dollar in early trade on Interbank Foreign Exchange on Wednesday. The rupee resumed higher at 44.96 per dollar, as against Tuesday's close of 45 rupees 04 paise per dollar. The domestic currency moved in a range between 44 rupees 90 paise and 45 rupees against the international currency during morning trade.
