The Indian rupee strengthened by 11 paise to 45.05 rupees per dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange in early trade today. It had closed 45.16 against the greenback in the previous session. Forex dealers said dollar weakness against other Asian currencies overseas, and higher opening in the stock market, supported the rupee gain.
