The Indian rupee gained 10 paise to trade at 45.73 rupees a dollar against the US dollar in early trade in the foreign exchange market on Monday, in tune with equities which were trading higher on sustained capital inflows. The local currency had closed at three-month high of 45.84 rupees against the dollar in the previous session.Forex dealers said fresh capital inflows into equities by foreign funds and firming Asian currencies against the dollar provided support to the rupee.
