The rupee appreciated by 10 paise to 44 rupees 95 paise per dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange today. The Indian currency was supported by a higher opening in the stock market and dollar weakness against the euro and other Asian currencies. The rupee had strengthened by 10 paise to close at 45.05 against the US currency in yesterday's trade following fresh dollar-selling by some banks and exporters.
