The rupee today strengthened by 10 paise against the US dollar to 56.40 in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market, on the back of selling of US currency by exporters.The rupee had lost 12 paise to close at 11-month lows of 56.50 against the US dollar in previous session on Friday.
