The government today said that the gain of the rupee would not have a negative impact on Indian exports.Talking to reporters in New Delhi today Commerce secretary Rahul Khullar said that any sharp appreciation would be detrimental. He however did not think that the appreciation has been all that sharp to warrant any problems.The rupee has gained by as much as 4 per cent against the US dollar since March 1.
