The Indian rupee came under pressure on Friday after a five-day strong rally and fell marginally by five paisa to 46.39 against the greenback on dollar buying by importers. The rupee had surged by 3.66 per cent to 46.34 in the last five days. The local unit resumed steady at 46.35 a dollar against its previous close and later fell to a low of 46.50 before being quoted at 46.39 a dollar in late morning deals.
