Erasing all its early gains, therupee today fell by four paise in late morning trade due to fresh dollar demand from banks and importers on the back of firm global cues. It was being quoted lower at 59 rupees 72 paise a dollar. The rupee had strengthened by four paise to 59 rupees 64 paise against the dollar in early trade today.
