The rupee fell 8 paise to trade at 69 rupees 03 paise against the US dollar in early trade today. Yesterday, the rupee had tumbled 21 paise to fresh closing low of 68 rupees 95 paise.

Meanwhile, the benchmark Sensex was up by 80 points to 35,654. Nifty is also up by 23 points at 10772 points a short while ago.
