Rupee eases by 2 paise against dollar in early trade

The rupee eased by 2 paise against the dollar in early trade today on fresh capital outflows by foreign funds and the US currency's gains against other Asian currencies. At the Forex market, the rupee fell by 2 paise to 46.23 a dollar. The rupee had closed higher by 9 paise at 46.22 a dollar in the previous session. Forex dealers said the dollar gaining against other Asian currencies and a weak trend on stock markets weighed on the rupee sentiment.
