The Indian rupee depreciated further by 9 paise to 45.69 a dollar in early trade on Thursday for the fifth straight day. The rupee closed lower by 2 paise at 45.60/61 a dollar in the previous session on Tuesday. Forex dealers said capital outflows by foreign funds from equities and dollar's gains against other Asian currencies, mainly weighed on the rupee sentiment.
