The Indian rupee fell by 18 paise to 44 rupees 25 paise against the US dollar in early trade at the Interbank Forex Exchange today. The rupee had ended 11 paise higher at 44.08 rupees against the American currency in the previous session. The local currency moved in a range between 44.17 and 44.25 rupees per dollar in morning deals.
