The rupee today depreciated by 10 paise to 57.12 against the US dollar in early trade on the Interbank Foreign Exchange market, following increased month- end demand for the American currency from importers. The rupee had ended just one paise higher at 57.02 against the American currency yesterday over its previous closing.
