Continuing its slide for the eighth straight session, the Indian rupee fell by another 9 paise to 45 Rupees 34 paise against the US dollar in early trade on the Interbank Foreign Exchange today. Dealers said sustained dollar demand from importers, the weak euro overseas and a lower start in the stock market did not permit an improvement in the rupee sentiment.The local currency had closed down by 5 paise to an eleven-week low of 45.25 rupees against the dollar in yesterday's trade.
