The rupee depreciated by 6 paise to 45.64 against the US dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange today. It closed 45.58 against the US dollar in the previous session. Forex dealers said the rupee weakened due to increased dollar demand and weak opening on the domestic bourses.
