The rupee depreciated by 6 paise to trade at 49 rupees 90 paise against the dollar in early trade today, on fresh demand from importers for the American currency.The domestic currency had gained 44 paise to close below the50-mark at 49 rupees 84 paise against the US currency in the previous session.
