The Indian rupee depreciated by 5 paise to 44.13 per US dollar in early trade on the Interbank Foreign Exchange today. It had closed at 44.08 on Wednesday.Dealers said strengthening of the dollar against the euro and a lower opening in the stock market mainly put pressure on the rupee.
