The Indian rupee depreciated by 13 paise to 45.70 rupees against the US dollar in early trade today. It had ended at eight-week low of 45.57 rupees against the greenback in the previous session. Forex dealers said besides dollar's gains against other Asian currencies, continued demand for the American currency from importers also kept pressure on the Indian rupee.
