The Indian rupee fell by 12 paise to 51 rupees 32 paise per US dollar in early trade today, weighed down by gains posted by the American currency against other Asian peers overseas amid a weak trend in the domestic equity market.The domestic unit had closed 26 paise higher at a fresh two-week high of 51.20 rupees per US dollar on the Interbank Foreign Exchange in the previous session on Friday.
