The Indian rupee depreciated by 13 paise to 45.56 against the dollar in early trade today.The rupee closed higher by 18 paise at 45.43/44 a dollar in the previous session on Friday. Forex dealers said besides strong dollar overseas, some demand from importers for the US currency also weighed on the rupee sentiment.
