The Rupee hit another all-time low of 54.85 rupees per dollar in the late morning trade today losing 38 paise on fresh demand for the American currency from banks and importers. Rupee tumbled by 35 paise to trade at 54.82 rupees against the dollar in early trade today. The Indian currency declined further on increased capital outflows and strong demand from importers for the American currency.Yesterday, rupee had touched an intra-day record low of 54.60 before settling at 54.47 rupees against the dollar.
