The Indian Rupee appreciated by 9 paise to 45 rupees 5 paise a dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market in the morning trade. This follows gains in other Asian currencies. Dealers said firm opening by the stock exchanges and the American Dollar's loss against other Asian currencies kept the rupee sentiment firm.The rupee had lost 9 paise to close at 45 rupees 15 paise against dollar in the previous session on good demand for US currency from importers amid increased capital outflows.
