The rupee appreciated by 12 paise against the US currency in early trade on Tuesday, after remaining weak for two days.At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market, the Indian rupee strengthened to 46.60 a dollar. Forex dealers said dollar's losses against other major units and dollar selling by exporters, mainly supported the rupee's sentiment.
