The rupee rose by 11 paise to 53 rupees 36 paise against the US dollar in early trade on continued selling of the American currency by exporters and banks. The rupee had gained 37 paise to close at 53 rupees 47 paise in yesterday's trade on fresh selling of dollars from banks and exporters amid FII inflows worth USD 45 million.
