The Indian Rupee appreciated by 14 paise to trade at 45.24 rupees a dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market in the morning trade today. Other Asian currencies also gained. Dealer said firm opening of the stock exchanges and American dollar's losses against other Asian currencies kept the rupee sentiment firm.The rupee had gained 50 paise to close at 45.38 rupees against the US currency in the previous session, on strong domestic equity markets and dollar selling by exporters.
