The rupee gained 15 paise to touch a four-week high of 45 rupees 55 paise against the dollar in early trade. Sustained capital inflows from foreign funds strengthened the Indian currency. The rupee had gained 13 paise to 45 rupees 71 paise against the dollar in the previous session.
