The rupee declined by 22 paise to 51.74 rupees against the dollar in early trade today. The fall was due to the appreciation of the US currency against the euro and other currencies overseas.In the previous session on Friday, the local currency had gained 9 paise to close at a fresh 6-week high of 51.52 rupees, amid increased foreign funds inflow.
