In the forex market, the rupee added marginally by one paise against the US dollar in afternoon deals. The domestic unit was trading at 74 rupees and 42 paise against the US currency.
     
 The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies rose 0.14 percent to trade at 95.64 in intra-day trade.
