Pandemonium broke out in Maharashtra Assembly as MNS MLAs prevented Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Asim Azmi from taking oath in Hindi. Azmi was reportedly beaten up by MNS MLA Ram Kadam immediately after House is adjourned for 20 minutes following ruckus by Raj Thackeray's men. Earlier, Raj Thackeray has written to MLAs to take oath in Marathi language.The SP General Secretary Amar Singh strongly criticised the developments, saying this will divide the country. He also alleged that Raj Thackeray is protected by the Congress government, despite his indulgence in divisive activities.
