In Kerala, the state assembly witnessed uproarious scenes today on the issue of alleged derogatory remarks by Forest Minister K B Ganesh Kumar against opposition leader V S Achuthanandan in a public function.The LDF opposition demanded the resignation of the Minister for his remarks against V S Achuthanandan. Describing the remarks as highly unfortunate, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy expressed regret on behalf of the government. However, the agitated opposition continued slogan shouting and almost trooped into the well of the house.Despite pandemonium the speaker rushed through the proceedings and adjourned the house for the day. Later, in a press conference, the Minister K B Ganesh Kumar expressed regret for his remarks.
