Punjab and Haryana High Court has agreed to grant adequate time to the counsel of former DGP, SPS Rathore to argue his petition seeking anticipatory bail in two fresh FIRs against him in the Ruchika Girhotra molestation case.<br/><br/>Rathore's wife and counsel, Abha submitted before the court that she needed sufficient time to present her case. The petition challenges a Panchkula session court order denying Rathore anticipatory bail. Granting her plea, Justice Sabina posted the petition for hearing later in the day.<br/><br/>The two fresh FIRs, registered on the basis of complaints by Ruchika's father S C Girhotra and brother Ashu, accuse Rathore of committing serious offences including attempt to murder, wrongful confinement, giving false evidence and doctoring the post-mortem report of Ruchika.<br/>
