A probe team last night questioned the principal of the school, which expelled teenager Ruchika Girhotra molested former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Chandigarh Parna Puri went to the Sacred Heart School in Chandigarh and quizzed the principal Sister Sebastian for several hours seeking details about the expulsion of Ruchika. Ruchika's father Subhash Chandra Gihrotra had alleged that Rathore used his clout to get her expelled from her school in September 1990.<br/> <br/>The team is understood to have sought documents relating to Ruchika's expulsion, the counts books and attendance register of the school because the school has claimed that she<br/>was expelled due to non-payment of fees for six months from April 1990.<br/> <br/>Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has hinted that the case relating to her molestation and suicide might be handed over to CBI. Asked about handing over the probe into Ruchika's molestation and suicide to CBI, Mr Hooda said "the report from Home Secretary is yet to come. The Chief Minister said he is waiting for the report from Special Investigation Team. He said, if the SIT report says CBI should take up the case and if a demand is made, then he will look into it.
