RT-PCR tests not to be conducted for asymptomatic passengers coming from Europe, South Africa and Middle-East, says Maharashtra govt.

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Maharashtra government today said that RT-PCR tests will not be conducted for asymptomatic passengers, coming via flights from Europe, South Africa and Middle-East.</span><br />''<br />''In a statement, Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar has said that all asymptomatic passengers will be taken to a paid institutional quarantine facility; wherein their tests will be conducted between 5th and 7th day.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">If the report comes negative, the passenger would be discharged with orders of seven days of mandatory home quarantine. In case the report comes positive, the person will continue to remain, either in institutional quarantine or shifted to a COVID care facility.</span><br />
