RSS says its not opposed to reservation as envisaged in Constitution of India

Rashtriya Swayesewak Sangh, RSS, has said that it is not opposed to reservation as envisaged in the Constitution of India.<br/><br/>Speaking to media at Samlong near Ranchi today, RSS Deputy Chief, Dattatrey Hosbole clarified that Sangh is opposed to reservation based on religion, as this is against the Constitution.<br/><br/>Mr. Hosbole also said that RSS is not an intolerant organization.<br/><br/>He said that the insult of sacred books in Punjab has hurt the sentiments of the country and the RSS condemns the incidents and demands arrests of the culprits.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, a three-day National Executive Council meet of the RSS, started today at Samlong, in which important issues facing the country are being discussed.<br/><br/>Today a proposal on imbalance in the growth of population among different communities of the country was brought in and it is being discussed.<br/><br/>The meeting is being presided over by RSS Chief, Mohan Bhagwat and being attended by other senior functionaries across the country.<br/><br/>The National Executive meet will also discuss the findings of Hazarika Committee report which has expressed concern that if the trend of illegal immigration continues unabated, Indian would be outnumbered in Assam and West Bengal by 2049. <br/><br/>Company has also taken responsibility of caring these plants.
