Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today condemned the attacks on dalits in different parts of the country and urged the government to take action against the people responsible for such acts. <br/><br/>In a statement, it said taking law into hand to harass dalits is not only illegal but also inhuman. <br/><br/>The RSS also cautioned different sections of the society against elements who are trying to divide the society. The Sangh called upon the leaders of political parties and communities to work create a conducive environment. <br/><br/>The RSS statement came in the wake of recent attacks on dalits by cow vigilantes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also said people to beware of fake cow protectors and asked the states to give severe punishment to them.
