The Rajya Sabha is witnessing a heated debate on the report of the Liberhan Commission which probed the demolition of disputed structure at Ayodhya. Leading the charge the main opposition BJP dismissed the report, saying it is full of contradictions and is far from truth. Participating in the discussion the Leader of Opposition in the house and senior BJP leader Mr. Arun Jaitely charged the congress that it can not be absolved as the party was in power at the centre led by its leader Mr. Narsimaha Rao. He suggested for initiating a dialogue between the two parties in a bid find a solution to the vexed issue.Initiating the debate the Samajwadi Party leader Mr. Amar Singh held both the congress and the BJP responsible for the demolition at Ayodhaya. He demanded the setting up of fast track courts to settle the dispute. He strongly pleaded for trying all those who were involved in the conspiracy of the demolition and held the Congress party responsible for installing of the idols, unlocking the structure and performance of shilanyas.Mr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi of the Congress charged the BJP and the Sangh Parivar of demolition of the structure through a pre planned conspiracy. Mr. Sighvi said that it is high time that the country takes lessons from the past and chart out the future course of action. Mr. Sita Ram Yechury of the CPIM held both the BJP and Congress responsible for the demolition .Pointing towards BJP; he alleged that the strong political moment is the main cause of the unfortunate incident at Ayodhaya. The debate is continuing.The Rajya Sabha took up the issue for debate this afternoon after the two day Marathon discussion on it in the Lok Sabha.Meanwhile, the Congress today described BJP's behavior during the debate on Liberhan Commission's in the Rajya Sabha as unparliamentarily and undemocratic. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, party spokesperson Mr. Jayanti Natrajan blamed the Opposition of disturbing the proceeding in an unruly manner. Stating that the opposition could have taken up any objections it had under the provisions of the rules, Mrs. Natrajan alleged that BJP created only noisy scenes in the two houses of Parliament. Meanwhile, the Congress today described BJP's behavior during the debate on Liberhan Commission's in the Rajya Sabha as unparliamentarily and undemocratic.
