The government today agreed to discuss the unprecedented violence in the Gaza strip and West Bank of Palestine in Parliament.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Prakash Javadekar said in the Rajya Sabha that the government is ready to discuss the matter as Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari gave a ruling to discuss.

The Minister said the Business Advisory Committee of the Upper House will meet this afternoon to decide the date and time for taking up the discussion.
