<span style="color: #222222;">The Rajya Sabha has taken up the Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2021 authorizing the Government to draw funds from the Consolidated Fund of India for its working and implementation of its programmes and schemes.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Lok Sabha cleared the Appropriation Bill, 2021 last Thursday.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Finance, Anurag Thakur moved the motion for discussion on the Appropriation Bill authorising payment and appropriation of specified sums from the consolidated fund of India for 2021-22.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Upper House in addition to the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming financial year also has taken up Appropriation Bill, 2021 for authorising payments and appropriation of certain further sums from the Consolidated Fund of India for the services of the current financial year of 2020-21.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Rajya Sabha has also taken up discussion on the Budget of Union Territory of Jammu &amp; Kashmir and Puducherry for 2021-22 and their appropriation bills.</span>
