The Rajya Sabha today bid farewell to its Secretary General, Dr V K Agnihotri, who is retiring this month-end. Making a reference in the House, Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari expressed appreciation for the services he has rendered.

The Chairman said, Dr Agnihotri, who assumed his office in October 2007, has performed his duties with dignity, devotion and dedication and helped in a smooth functioning of the House.
