The Rajya Sabha today bid farewell to four of its members who are retiring in February 2015 on completion of their term of office. The retiring members are Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad and Prof. Saifuddin Soz, both Congress, and Mohammed Shafi and G N Ratanpur, both Jammu and Kashmir National Conference. Making a reference in the House Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari said the retiring members have made rich contributions in the deliberations of the House.
