The Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman K. Rahman Khan today directed the government to respond to the opposition demand by this evening about diversion of funds by Delhi government for Commonwealth Games. The chair gave the ruling after Mr. Venkaih Naidu of the BJP raised the issue immediately after the question hour. Mr. Naidu was joined by other opposition members who alleged despite assurance by the Parliamentary Affairs Minister to come back to the House on the issue; he has not turned up so far.
