The Rajya Sabha has been adjourned today for a third time till 3 PM following continued uproar by opposition. As soon as the House reassembled at 2.30 pm after two adjournments, BJP members shouted slogans against the Home Minister Mr P. Chidambaram for his reported remarks on the Mullaperiyar Dam issue.

They also raised slogans against the minister for his reported directions to the Delhi Police to withdraw criminal cases against a Delhi-based hotelier.

Deputy Chairman Mr. K Rehman Khan adjourned the House for 30 minutes till 3 PM.

AIR correspondent reports that the issue was raised by the opposition during the Zero Hour.
