The Rajya Sabha was adjourned finally for the day today following continued uproar by opposition against the Home Minister P Chidambaram. Earlier, the House witnessed three adjournments on the issue. When the House reassembled at 3 PM, some of the BJP members trooped into the well shouting slogans against Mr. Chidambaram for his alleged involvement in the 2G Spectrum allocation. They also raised slogans against the minister for his reported directions to the Delhi Police to withdraw criminal cases against a Delhi-based hotelier. The Vice Chairman Prof. P J Kurien, adjourned the House till tomorrow amid noisy scenes.
